Position Overview:

Pearson Electronics, Inc. is in search of a skilled Lead Engineering Specialist with expertise in Physics and/or Electrical Engineering. This role will report directly to the President and engage in various facets of the organization's technical functions, particularly in supporting our existing measuring transformer product line and associated offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Chief Engineer, management, and production teams.
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of the company's product offerings and operational processes.
  • Deliver technical application assistance to clients.
  • Create and analyze electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
  • Acquire a deep understanding of our assembly methodologies.
  • Participate actively in quality assurance and testing protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and practical skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously as well as in a collaborative team environment, engaging effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Familiarity with EMI testing and EMC standards is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Possession of a valid US work permit is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visual Basic programming is a plus.

Educational Background: A Master's or PhD in Physics or Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Experience Required: A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience is necessary.

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel for conferences and client engagements may be required.
