Position Summary:
As a member of the Residential Support Staff at Hurley House, you will play a crucial role in furthering our mission to provide exceptional, person-centered care. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safety and welfare of our residents, maintaining the facility's cleanliness, and safeguarding the confidentiality and integrity of our programs.
Primary Duties:
- Keep precise log entries.
- Conduct regular hourly inspections both inside and outside the facility.
- Perform room checks to guarantee resident safety.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly (e.g., incident reports).
- Participate in required staff meetings.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the House at all times.
- Maintain clear access to all sidewalks, porches, stairs, and doorways by removing debris, snow, and other hazards.
- Adhere to all Program policies and procedures consistently.
- Facilitate and/or oversee urine drug-screening collection processes and medication administration according to Program-specific guidelines and BSAS protocols.
- Protect the confidentiality and integrity of clients and the Program at all times.
- Be present and punctual for all assigned shifts.
- Conduct fire drills in accordance with the evacuation plan.
- Comply with all MHSA policies regarding boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.
- Attend in-service and external training as directed by the Program Director.
- Perform various other tasks as assigned by the Program Director or Assistant Program Director to ensure the effective operation of the program.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Proven reliable attendance and punctuality. Experience with diverse populations is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team.
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (training opportunities provided by MHSA).
- Valid identification is required.
- Reliable personal transportation for work-related activities is necessary.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
Available Shifts:
- Monday - Friday: 3 pm - 11 am
- Saturday - Sunday: 11 pm - 7 am
- Per-diem (flexible schedule) positions are also available.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage of $19.00.
