Join Our Team as a Residential Counselor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team at Riverside Community Care. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities in our residential settings.

About the Role

As a Residential Counselor, you will work closely with our team to provide support, supervision, and skills training to individuals in our care. You will help them develop and practice new skills, identify their strengths, and actualize their hopes and dreams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and supervision to residents in our residential settings
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to support residents' goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as medication management and personal care
  • Document resident progress and provide regular updates to our team
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Valid driver's license required
