About the Role

As a Residential Support Staff, you will provide high-quality direct care services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as individuals with mental health-related diagnoses. Your primary responsibility will be to support residents in their daily living activities, including meal preparation, money management, and personal hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents
  • Provide guidance and support for skills building and daily living activities
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and personal hygiene
  • Engage residents in activities that promote their health and wellness, symptom stabilization, and self-management
  • Ensure a supportive and inclusive environment for residents
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Zero to six years of experience in direct support or a related field; experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health needs preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to become MAP certified
