Key Responsibilities
The essential duties of this position may include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of comprehensive work papers and draft financial statements for various entities.
  • Compilation of financial statements and reports for multiple projects.
  • Review and analysis of financial statements provided by external Property Management for ongoing Development Projects.
  • Monthly presentation of prepared and reviewed Financial Statements to stakeholders, including future cash flow analysis.
  • Preparation and collection of work papers necessary for annual tax and audit compliance.
  • Management of Cost Certification requests for Development Projects.
  • Handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for overhead and projects, including research, allocation, data entry, and weekly check processing.
  • Preparation of monthly Development Project AIA's and related documentation.
  • Collaboration with Development Analysts and Construction Project Accountants to ensure timely funding package delivery.
  • Maintenance of schedules for land deposits, development fee payouts, and quarterly cash distributions.
  • Implementation and documentation of new accounting policies.
  • Management of licensing renewals and new applications.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not include supervisory duties.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.
  • 2-3 years of experience in General Ledger accounting.
  • Preferred experience with Viewpoint software.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required. Exceptional knowledge of Viewpoint is preferred.
