About the Role

Aldrich is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team. As a trusted advisor to our clients, you will provide complex tax review, planning, and compliance services, and lead our tax team with expertise and vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and plan service delivery to clients, including conducting review meetings and working directly with clients on follow-up items.
  • Analyze client financial information, assess needs, and determine advanced strategies necessary to meet clients' objectives.
  • Manage client relationships and develop relationships with clients, demonstrating a capacity to earn client respect and trust.
  • Perform technical tax reviews, approve tax returns, and governmental tax examinations of any complexity.
  • Develop and mentor staff through training and effective performance feedback, ensuring responsibilities are consistent with skills and development goals.
  • Manage risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets.
Requirements
  • 8+ years recent tax experience in public accounting.
  • Licensed CPA or JD.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Willingness to take ownership of the client and ability to build and retain client relationships.

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $135,000 - $185,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive compensation program, subject to the rules governing the program.
