We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team at Assured Technology Solutions LLC. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for leading the financial reporting, billing, and accounting functions, managing payroll for a small team of up to 20 employees, and covering administrative and office management functions.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Manage the month-end close processes
- Prepare assigned journal entries of monthly transactions (Payroll and CPC)
- Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts monthly, resolve variances, and adjust as necessary
- Administrate Simple Pension plans
- Pay Washington sales tax monthly
- Reviews AP invoices and prepares biweekly vendor payments and AP reporting
- Maintain the accounting software
- Participate in tax filings and budgeting
- Update and record all changes to fixed assets, including additions and deletions, transfers, and depreciation expense
- Create reporting, analyze information, and provide reports as requested
- Support CEO with reports, analysis, insights on the financial health of the organization
- Perform annual activities such as 1099's and annual state filings
- Purchasing and Vendor Management
- Purchasing of supplies, including hardware, purchasing planning, and documentation in ERP (ConnectWise)
- Managing PO ordering system
- Managing license renewals for ATS and the customers
- Bidding and negotiating of the prices on behalf of ATS
- Managing rebates and discounts
- Inventory management, proper and timely amortization, and disposal of obsolete inventory
- Billing and Customer Contracts
- Managing invoicing and billing functions
- Managing proposals
- Participation in costing the projects
- Administrative Work
- Website management
- Implementation of new systems, onboarding new vendors
- Payroll backups
- Policy creation and revision participation
- Active participation in the strategic planning
- 3 years of experience in accounting
- Hands-on knowledge of Quickbooks or similar software
- Some technical abilities and knowledge of security and network systems
- Knowledge of ConnectWise Manage or similar operational database is highly desired
- 1 year of payroll experience is highly desired
- Ability to drive and own an adequately insured vehicle is preferred but not required
