We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team at Assured Technology Solutions LLC. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for leading the financial reporting, billing, and accounting functions, managing payroll for a small team of up to 20 employees, and covering administrative and office management functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Manage the month-end close processes
    • Prepare assigned journal entries of monthly transactions (Payroll and CPC)
    • Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts monthly, resolve variances, and adjust as necessary
    • Administrate Simple Pension plans
    • Pay Washington sales tax monthly
    • Reviews AP invoices and prepares biweekly vendor payments and AP reporting
    • Maintain the accounting software
    • Participate in tax filings and budgeting
    • Update and record all changes to fixed assets, including additions and deletions, transfers, and depreciation expense
    • Create reporting, analyze information, and provide reports as requested
    • Support CEO with reports, analysis, insights on the financial health of the organization
    • Perform annual activities such as 1099's and annual state filings
  • Purchasing and Vendor Management
    • Purchasing of supplies, including hardware, purchasing planning, and documentation in ERP (ConnectWise)
    • Managing PO ordering system
    • Managing license renewals for ATS and the customers
    • Bidding and negotiating of the prices on behalf of ATS
    • Managing rebates and discounts
    • Inventory management, proper and timely amortization, and disposal of obsolete inventory
  • Billing and Customer Contracts
    • Managing invoicing and billing functions
    • Managing proposals
    • Participation in costing the projects
  • Administrative Work
    • Website management
    • Implementation of new systems, onboarding new vendors
    • Payroll backups
    • Policy creation and revision participation
    • Active participation in the strategic planning
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in accounting
  • Hands-on knowledge of Quickbooks or similar software
  • Some technical abilities and knowledge of security and network systems
  • Knowledge of ConnectWise Manage or similar operational database is highly desired
  • 1 year of payroll experience is highly desired
  • Ability to drive and own an adequately insured vehicle is preferred but not required
