About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our team at AccentCare, Inc. as a Hospice Music Therapist. As a Music Therapist in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with patients and their families in a hospice setting, providing music therapy services to promote healing and comfort.

Responsibilities
  • Provide music therapy services to patients in a hospice setting, including individual and group sessions
  • Develop and implement music therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in music therapy
Requirements
  • Board Certified as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT)
  • Master's Degree in Music Therapy or a related field
  • 1 year of experience as a Music Therapist in a healthcare setting
  • Valid driver's license and reliable automobile
