Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with on-call rotation

Compensation: $44,000 - $70,000 based on experience, plus mileage reimbursement and a $5,000 sign-on bonus

Requirements: MT-BC certification, one year of experience in hospital, home health, or hospice settings, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

Be the Best Music Therapist You Can Be

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy or a related field from an AMTA-approved institution.
  • Possession of a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and the minimum required liability insurance.

Required Certifications and Licenses

  • Board Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) from the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT). State-specific qualifications may apply.
  • For Level II Music Therapist: Minimum of two years of full-time experience in a healthcare environment, along with the highest state licensure, if applicable, and AMTA Intern Supervisor status.
  • For Level III Music Therapist: Minimum of five years of full-time experience in a healthcare setting, a Master's Degree in Music Therapy or a related field, and the highest state licensure, if applicable, along with AMTA Intern Supervisor status.
