Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Program Manager to assist game studios and stakeholder teams navigate the legal, cultural, and ethical considerations when creating and distributing gaming content globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across client Games to track compliance requirements for games, services, marketing, and content in worldwide markets.
  • Perform frontline reviews of game content and marketing materials to mitigate unnecessary geopolitical risk in target markets.
  • Assist with reporting compliance against Gaming Global Readiness requirements.
  • Organize, synthesize, and update information into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation on the Gaming Global Readiness SharePoint site.
  • Research complex questions related to geopolitical, socio-linguistic, and cultural issues and synthesize the research into clear analysis and guidance for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and schedule GR reviews and training sessions with teams and stakeholders.
  • Co-host Gaming Global Readiness Office Hours when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Jira/ADO, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio.
  • Familiarity with compliance functions.
  • Bonus: Background in cultural studies, history, or anthropology, and proficiency in two or more languages.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in localization, international relations, program management, game production, or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred but not required.
  • Preferred: 2 or more years' experience within the entertainment or communication fields.
  • Years of Experience Required: 2 overall years of experience in the field.
  • Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role.
  • Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain marketing communications experience, editorial experience, interest in gaming and pop culture and content production for worldwide markets.
  • Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and meeting deadlines.
  • Communication skills | 2 years of experience
  • Editorial software skills | 2 years of experience
  • Gaming software (content pipeline or software of a product that's made of multiple components) | 2 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication, creative problem-solving, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in partnering with and influencing a wide variety of team members.
  • Passion for learning, research, creative content, communications, and games.
  • Awareness of cross-cultural differences.
  • Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Familiarity with video games, development milestones, content creation, and age ratings.
