About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Unit at Fairview Park Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, evaluate, plan, implement, and coordinate treatment plans to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for exams, and arranging or testing and admissions.
  • Provide general nursing care, instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, and maintain and review patients' records.
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, check rooms daily for necessary supplies, and respond to and refer incoming telephone calls.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a Bachelors Degree or Associate Degree.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support or CPR certification, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
