Job Title: Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team in Waldorf. As a key member of our residential care team, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  • Accompany and support individuals during community outings and appointments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of individual progress and any incidents in accordance with organizational guidelines.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment that encourages personal growth and development.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Compassion, patience, and empathy towards residents.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance.
  • Must attend all required trainings and certifications.
Schedule:

Saturday from 8am to 2pm and Sunday from 8am to 10pm. Hourly rate of $21, with a $2 weekend differential. Additional hours may be available based on facility needs.
