Key Responsibilities:
* Documents: Photocopying, faxing, filing, scanning, saving documents to case management system as well as client physical files.
* Administrative Support: General clerical duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, calendaring appointments, mail distribution, and post office mailings.
* Record Keeping: Organize case files and other documents. Update records and databases/case management system. Accurate data entry.
* Client Interaction: Greet clients and visitors, handle general inquiries, and provide general information as appropriate.
* Office Operations: Stock and organize office supplies and equipment throughout the office.
* Confidentiality: Ensure that all information pertaining to the company and client remains confidential and not shared with anyone outside the company.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a legal office or similar environment. Experience with legal document preparation and filing is highly preferred.
* Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in legal studies or related field is a plus.
* Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management systems. Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
