Responsibilities

Lead and Develop Student Athletes

As an Athletic Coach with Allen ISD, you will be responsible for instructing and working with student athletes to prepare them for competitions, games, and overall strength and conditioning in their specific athletic area.

Key Responsibilities:

* Instruct and mentor student athletes to develop their skills and knowledge in their respective sports
* Work with student athletes to prepare for competitions and games, including developing strategies and techniques
* Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment

Requirements:

* Minimum of one year of coaching experience as an Assistant Coach, or a Head Coach
* Experience supervising students in physical education classes, intramural, or other team-building/sports
* Knowledge of the rules, strategies, and techniques of the sport
* Knowledge of related athletics, sports equipment, and safety, including Concussion Training, First Aid/CPR/AED, and applicable Virginia High School League (VHSL) certifications and training
