Front Desk Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Homewood Suites Rochester. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.
Responsibilities:
- Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of cash handling and credit policies compliance.
- Stay up-to-date on hotel rates, packages, and promotions, and be able to communicate this information to guests effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and paperwork, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hotel standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in hotel software systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
