About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Instructor to join our team at Ascend Learning. As a key member of our instructional team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to students in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver live classes on FINRA and NASAA material, breaking down complex topics into relatable content for students.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students via phone and email, addressing complex regulatory questions and offering personalized coaching for regulatory exams.
  • Develop engaging content and curriculum for FINRA and NASAA courses, incorporating best practices for live classes and collaborating with multiple departments based on class feedback.
  • Assist students in building client portfolios, including tax implications, different investment goals, retirement planning, and college savings planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in education or finance or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of financial experience in the securities business.
  • 5+ years of teaching experience, including live groups and one-on-one tutoring.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and flexible.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with current technology, including Microsoft Office, Internet browsers, and search engines.
