Fitness Floor Associate

Job Summary
The Fitness Floor Attendant is responsible for ensuring the fitness floor is safe and clean, responding to member concerns, and promoting additional services available at The J.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to member inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct equipment orientations and provide excellent customer service to members
- Maintain a safe and functional work environment, including daily sterilization of equipment
- Educate members on fitness floor policies and enforce these policies
- Communicate with the Fitness Floor Supervisor to ensure equipment cleaning and maintenance schedules are completed
Requirements
- Basic fitness knowledge and excellent customer service skills
- Able to build and strengthen relationships with members and work effectively in a team environment
- Basic computer proficiency and interest in attaining personal training or instructor certification
- Previous experience in a fitness center environment is preferred but not required
