Financial Analyst Role

Companion Protect, LLC is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing claims data to identify trends, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze large datasets related to insurance claims to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Use statistical methods and data analysis tools to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and claims metrics.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders, including senior management, to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with claims teams to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize claims processing, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by regularly auditing and validating claims data.
  • Manage and update databases and data systems as necessary to support analysis and reporting needs.
  • Work closely with IT, claims, and other departments to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to leverage data for broader organizational goals.
  • Adhere to data governance and security policies to protect sensitive information.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to data usage and reporting.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
  • Bonus if you have knowledge of insurance claims processes and regulations.
  • Bonus if you possess a data certificate or similar experience.
