Dietary Care Coordinator

St. David's South Austin Medical Center is a 368-bed acute care facility that offers a range of complex specialties and sub-specialties. We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian PRN to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional patient care and service.
Job Summary:
The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy to inpatients and outpatients via screenings, assessments, consultations, and counseling sessions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of nutrition science, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for patients
- Conduct nutritional education sessions for patients and their families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Licensed Dietitian must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
- Commission Dietetic Registration must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field
