Clinical Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Cardiac Telemetry department. As a key member of our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in the unit during the designated shift.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Oversee staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
