Salary: $62,000 - $92,000 per year

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing patient care effectively, following our nursing practice model. They work with other health care staff to deliver high-quality patient care. Our Nurses use the nursing process efficiently to diagnose patient responses to health issues and create care plans accordingly. This includes evaluating healthcare needs and responses.

Responsibilities
  • Prioritize patient needs. Create, implement, and assess care plan to achieve desired outcomes. Adapt plan as necessary.
  • Closely observe indicators, support evidence-based changes with research and hands-on learning.
  • Create a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
  • Build relationships with boundaries in mind. Focus on managing emotional and physical pain to promote healing and reduce suffering.
  • Facilitate learning for all members of the healthcare team, including patients, families, and nursing staff, ensuring everyone is well-informed.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and the community to develop and execute an integrated plan of care.
  • Utilize problem-solving strategies and available resources to support patients, family and staff as part of a systems thinking approach.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with nursing and patient care standards and procedures.
  • Awareness of legal requirements and standards of certification and accreditation bodies, including the specifics of the hospital and respective department/unit.
  • Good command of medical terminology, with a focus on healthcare promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention.
  • Effective communication skills, along with social aptitude for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
  • Possessing critical thinking and problem-solving skills is crucial.
  • Capability to identify and report changes in patient conditions, develop, and modify patient care plans as required.
  • Basic computer skills necessary for day-to-day assignments.
