Advanced Endoscopy Nurse Coordinator Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Endoscopy Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at St. David's Medical Center. This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on a leadership role in delivering high-quality patient care.
About the RoleIn this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the planning and implementation of endoscopy services, ensuring that patients receive exceptional care. Your primary focus will be on leading customer service initiatives, evaluating staff performance, and maintaining professionalism throughout the unit.
- You will direct optimal unit operations, review schedules, and staff appropriately.
- Demonstrate effective communication with physicians, staff, and others, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Evaluate staff performance on an ongoing basis and assist in delivering direct patient care as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A registered nurse license from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners (Compact license holders must obtain a Texas RN license within 90 days).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association and ACLS certification in accordance with SDH policy.
- At least two years of experience in endoscopy nursing, with supervisory or charge RN experience preferred.
