Salary Information
The hourly rate for this position is $18-$20 per hour, with 37.5 hours worked per week. This translates to an estimated weekly salary of $675-$750 and an annual salary of approximately $35,100-$39,000.
Job Description
This role involves supporting students in the special education program by promoting a positive learning environment throughout the day. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with students of various ages, from kindergarten to 12th grade.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Driver's License and Reliable Transportation: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for this role.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are required to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred but Not Required: While a bachelor's degree is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position.
- Experience Supporting Students with Behaviors: Experience working with students who have behavioral challenges is highly valued.
