Job Title: Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate medical support specialist to join our team at AtWork Medical Services. As an experienced caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with daily activities, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being of residents in a long-term care facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for a fulfilling and stable contract role within a supportive and professional environment. There are day and evening shifts available, and both are guaranteed 40-hour weeks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of residents by adhering to established nursing standards and protocols
  • Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team
  • Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies
  • Provide emotional support and patient education to residents and their families

Requirements:
  • Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
