We are seeking a skilled Clinical Research Nurse I to join our team at ICON Plc in Salt Lake City, UT. This role offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

This position involves supporting the execution of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocol requirements, and providing compassionate patient care throughout the research process. The successful candidate will assist in planning, implementing, and coordinating clinical research activities in accordance with study protocols, regulatory guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable jurisdiction, and minimum 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills are essential, along with proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and data entry.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and coordination of clinical research activities
  • Conduct patient assessments, administer study treatments, and perform clinical procedures as required by the research protocol
  • Collect, record, and maintain accurate and complete data documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient study conduct and participant recruitment
  • Provide education and counseling to study participants and their families regarding study procedures and treatment regimens
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable jurisdiction
  • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and data entry
