About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Scientist to join our team at ICON. Based in Salt Lake City, UT, USA, this is a remote opportunity for a clinical research professional with a strong background in drug development.

Job Description

As a Senior Clinical Scientist, you will be responsible for developing protocols for clinical studies and contributing to program strategy. Your duties will include drafting clinical scientific documents, providing clinical input into eCRF design, and monitoring and reviewing clinical safety and efficacy data.

Responsibilities
  • Develop protocols for clinical studies
  • Contribute to program strategy for assigned compounds/programs
  • Draft clinical scientific documents such as INDs, Clinical Study Reports, and Investigator Brochures
  • Provide clinical input into eCRF design, SAP, and TLFs
  • Monitor, review, and summarize clinical safety and efficacy data
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific/life sciences field; Pharm.D. or Ph.D. preferred
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in research with at least 3 years of clinical research/drug development experience
  • Experience in Oncology Drug Development preferred
  • Strong analytical ability and excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to accommodate up to 20% travel
