Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Technician I to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests on complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct tests on electrical equipment, including power transformers, protective relays, circuit breakers, and control and supervisory equipment.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem analysis associated with protection and control systems and utility substation equipment.
  • Provide high-level customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients.
  • Participate in project meetings and identify risks and associated mitigation techniques on utility systems and equipment.
  • Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and project completion reports and documentation.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a technical field with a minimum of 3+ years of testing and commissioning experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of electrical protection systems, including relay communication.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others and maintain a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Valid USA driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds of test equipment.
