Job Title: Test Technician

Skylimit Systems is seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through hands-on testing and validation.

Job Summary:

As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of tests on components and systems used in space applications. You will utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to perform assembly, troubleshooting, and functional testing, ensuring that all systems meet stringent quality standards and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of electronic, mechanical, and structural components used in space systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and other equipment to assemble and test prototypes and production units, ensuring compliance with industry standards and mission requirements.
  • Develop and refine test procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and accuracy, collaborating with engineering teams to implement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results, equipment usage, and any discrepancies observed during testing.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive components to maintain quality and reliability.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of test setups, equipment calibration, and inventory management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a test technician or similar role, preferably in the aerospace or defense industries.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment, with a strong understanding of assembly and testing processes.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems, including familiarity with circuit diagrams and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers and other team members.
