Test Technician Specialist

Skylimit Systems is seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our space systems through hands-on testing and validation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic and mechanical systems, including familiarity with circuit diagrams and schematics. They will be responsible for conducting a variety of tests on components and systems used in space applications, utilizing hand tools and specialized equipment to perform assembly, troubleshooting, and functional testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of electronic, mechanical, and structural components used in space systems.
- Utilize hand tools and other equipment to assemble and test prototypes and production units, ensuring compliance with industry standards and mission requirements.
- Develop and refine test procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and accuracy, collaborating with engineering teams to implement solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, equipment usage, and any discrepancies observed during testing.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of test setups, equipment calibration, and inventory management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a test technician or similar role, preferably in the aerospace or defense industries.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment, with a strong understanding of assembly and testing processes.
- Basic knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems, including familiarity with circuit diagrams and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers and other team members.
