Customer Service Representative | Bcipkg

Position Overview

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for managing sales information throughout the quotation, order entry, and delivery processes for both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the highest standards of trust and ethical conduct while adhering to established safety protocols and company policies.
  • Receive and process customer orders through various communication channels including phone, mail, fax, and email.
  • Verify details on purchase orders and provide confirmations to clients.
  • Address any discrepancies in collaboration with customers or the sales team.
  • Handle customer service tasks: maintain and update records, manage incoming customer complaints, and resolve product, quality, and shipping issues in accordance with established procedures.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing and product information.
  • Offer technical and sales assistance as needed.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of products and services to effectively troubleshoot issues, ensuring a high level of service.
  • Communicate efficiently with other departments concerning products and sales.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

This is a full-time position based in an office environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Preferred: Associate's degree.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in a customer service capacity.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic math skills, including proficiency in calculating discounts, interest, and percentages.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities, fostering solid relationships with a diverse range of customers.
