Overview

As a vital member of our team, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing sales information throughout the quotation, order processing, and delivery phases for both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Uphold the highest standards of trust and ethical conduct while adhering to established safety protocols and company policies.
  2. Handle and process customer orders through various communication channels including phone, email, and fax.
  3. Confirm details on purchase orders and provide timely confirmations to clients.
  4. Address any discrepancies in orders by liaising with customers and the sales team.
  5. Manage customer service tasks: maintain and update records, respond to incoming customer inquiries, and resolve issues related to products, quality, and shipping in accordance with established procedures.
  6. Assist customers with pricing inquiries and product information.
  7. Offer technical and sales assistance as needed.
  8. Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services to effectively troubleshoot and provide high-quality service.
  9. Communicate efficiently with other departments regarding product and sales information.
  10. Perform additional duties as required.

This is a full-time position based in an office environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Preferred: Associate's degree.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in a customer service capacity.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic math skills, including understanding discounts, interest, and percentages.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with strong verbal and written communication capabilities, fostering solid relationships with a diverse range of clients.
