We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Insurance Support Specialist to join our team at Tristarr Recruiting. As an Assistant Personal Insurance Specialist, you will provide essential processing and clerical support to our Personal Insurance Specialists, ensuring that our clients receive accurate and timely policy information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policy Processing: Process endorsements on carrier sites, check and process daily downloads in EPIC, and prepare and send applications and forms for e-signature.
  • Research and Resolution: Research and resolve billing questions from carrier sites, enter data into EPIC Rater to begin quotes and remarkets, and verify that automatic policy renewals match expiring terms and conditions.
  • Administrative Support: Create memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed, handle daily mail, including processing cancellation and reinstatement notices, and assist in researching information for new and renewal accounts.
  • Customer Support: Provide backup phone support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently while coordinating with a larger team.
  • Task Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a knack for handling complex information.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with Agency Management Systems (EPIC preferred).
  • Mathematical Skills: Solid mathematical skills and ability to handle financial data.
  • Continuous Learning: Desire to continuously improve insurance knowledge through coursework, seminars, and conferences.
  • Licensure: Willingness to obtain a Pennsylvania Property and Casualty License within the first year.
