Quality Assurance RN

As a Quality Assurance Registered Nurse with Providence, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients. You will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, and supporting quality initiatives within our organization. This includes providing concurrent and retrospective support for initiatives related to Center for Medicare and Medicaid requirements, The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements, and administrative and program personnel. You will also work closely with physician leadership, directors, and managers to develop and implement quality efforts, including risk monitoring and reduction in clinical and non-clinical systems. Additionally, you will serve as a facilitator and mentor for department teams related to performance improvement, authorizing and making decisions on recommendations and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
Assess and evaluate quality initiatives within the organization
Provide concurrent and retrospective support for initiatives related to Center for Medicare and Medicaid requirements, The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements, and administrative and program personnel

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
5 years Clinical experience
5 years Hospital experience in a progressively responsible position(s) requiring contact with various departments
Demonstrated clinical experience related to a wide variety of patient populations and care delivery models
Demonstrated leadership experience
Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with physicians, nursing, public, and all levels of hospital management
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business, Healthcare or Business Administration
Adult medical surgical experience
