Job Title: Travel Nurse RN

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN for a long-term acute care travel nursing position in a top healthcare facility.

Job Description:
  • Specialty: Long Term Acute Care

As a Travel Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced long-term acute care environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide care for 5-6 patients
  • Adjust and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Keep up with multiple admissions and discharges
  • Monitor and administer medications
  • Educate patients and family on surgical processes and illness management
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients
  • Interpret telemetry readings and notify medical team members of irregularities
  • Perform duties required of a registered nurse
  • Care for patients with pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A-Fib
Requirements:
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in a Long Term Acute Care setting
  • Experience with Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes, and ability to read Tele-strips
