Position Overview:

The Territory Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in driving lead generation to achieve and surpass individual sales targets for new enrollments while ensuring the retention of current members within the company's health plans. This position involves establishing and nurturing relationships with contracted providers and community partners within designated markets and territories, including local area marketing initiatives.

Reporting Structure:

This role reports directly to the Director of Regional Sales and is dedicated solely to a specific local market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals while maintaining existing member retention.
  • Engage in grassroots marketing efforts to generate leads independently.
  • Participate in telemarketing campaigns as directed by management.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with contracted providers and community partners in assigned markets.
  • Prepare and submit daily activity and monthly production reports as required.
  • Distribute CMS-approved marketing materials to potential clients, providers, and community partners.
  • Conduct presentations, both in groups and one-on-one, to prospects, providers, and local community partners.
  • Stay informed about updates related to the company and CMS marketing guidelines.
  • Engage in ongoing sales training and share best practices with team members and other departments.
  • Conduct competitor analysis (SWOT) within assigned markets as needed.
  • Collaborate as a team player, sharing insights and attending staff meetings as necessary.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in general sales, clinical, or community outreach.
  • Strong understanding of CMS Marketing Guidelines.
  • Preferred background in Medicare knowledge and/or health insurance.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain an active life insurance license in the respective selling state.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary for attending sales activities and appointments.
  • A self-motivated individual who is organized and a team player.
  • Ability to educate and motivate providers, community partners, members, and potential members about the company and its health plans.
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation: Pay rate: $45, $67,400.00
