Job Title:Territory Sales Consultant
Job Summary:

Thuasne USA is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Consultant to join our sales team. As a Territory Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for initiating sales and marketing calls in designated territory, coordinating delivery of prescribed medical equipment, and instructing patients and/or caregivers on proper and safe use of prescribed equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market company's products to successfully meet/exceed company assigned quotas.
  • Perform scheduled In-services with physicians and therapists.
  • Deliver prescribed medical equipment.
  • Instruct patients and/or caregivers on how to use prescribed equipment properly and safely.
  • Follow up with patients throughout their length of treatment.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Manage referrals with the appropriate Sales Support Reps until billing confirmation is received.
  • Manage device inventory in conjunction with the inventory control team.
  • Communicate or interact with, assess, or treat Thuasne USA customers that may be pediatric, adult, or senior patients.
  • Schedule deliveries, pick-ups, discontinuances, maintenances, or changes in service.
  • Adhere to corporate compliance requirements and ensure any and all Patient Service Reps in territory perform the same.
  • Participate in all training programs on an ongoing basis.
  • Travel expectations averaging 1-2 overnights per week or approximately 30-40% overnight travel within the territory.
Qualification Requirements:

  • Able to travel the local territory by car during the work week with up to 40% overnight travel within the territory.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to develop, analyze, and forecast a sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of successfully managing an outside sales territory.
  • Durable Medical Equipment sales preferred.
