Job Title: HRIS Administrator

The Lansing Board of Water & Light is seeking a highly skilled HRIS Administrator to join our Human Resources Department. As an HRIS Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Workday system, ensuring its optimal performance to support our organization's HR and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the Workday system, ensuring its reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Perform regular system audits and data integrity checks.
  • Ensure system compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Workday system, including user access, security configuration, and system maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working closely with internal teams and external vendors as necessary.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address any potential issues.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to Workday users across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Project management, with a proven track record of leading Workday implementation or upgrade projects.
  • Strong understanding of Workday HCM and other modules such as Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Talent Management.
  • Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Workday business processes and security.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Experience with report writing and data analysis using Workday reporting tools.
  • Project management skills and experience in handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Workday certification in one or more modules.
  • Experience in supporting Workday integrations with other systems.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and principles.
