Position Summary:

We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to deliver comprehensive HR support to our brand. This role encompasses various functions including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR consultation for leadership. You will play a crucial role in the formulation, execution, and communication of HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist with HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, performance evaluations, leave management, and unemployment claims.
  • Stay informed about legal requirements and government regulations impacting HR functions, ensuring compliance in policies and reporting.
  • Provide guidance and support for positive employee relations initiatives, addressing and resolving any related issues.
  • Collaborate with talent acquisition to support recruitment efforts for both exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Lead or assist in HR projects and training sessions, including new hire orientations and benefits education.
  • Consult with frontline leaders on effective HR practices and people management strategies.
  • Address HR-related inquiries and issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in HR administration, particularly in employee relations.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
