Collision Estimator Trainee

World Toyota Collision Center is part of Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail. We are seeking an entry-level Collision Estimator Trainee to join our team.

About the Role:

We are a Toyota Certified body shop that offers high standards of quality repairs in Atlanta and surrounding areas. As a Collision Estimator Trainee, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers and communicating with them on the telephone to provide information and schedule appointments.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, insurance companies, and co-workers.
  • Listening to customer requests and completing a proper explanation on the work order.
  • Thoroughly checking customers' vehicles to determine all damage, including structural, exterior, and interior damage.
  • Calculating the estimated cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each affected item on the vehicle.
  • Reviewing with customers the cost-effectiveness of repair versus replacement of parts.
  • Determining costs associated with repainting or other applicable customizing.
  • Properly completing insurance claim forms to indicate repair or replacement cost estimates and specific recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Interest in automotive repairs.
  • Some experience in the automotive repair industry is a plus.
  • Availability for Saturday schedule.
  • Proficient in operating a personal computer, including Microsoft Office: E-mail, Excel, and Word.
  • ADP Dealer Services experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license in the state where you will work and a good driving record.
  • Great attitude with a high-energy personality.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
