Job Summary
SAIC is seeking a skilled Printer Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and configuring network printers and local printers, as well as providing PC support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional checks, troubleshooting, and operational tasks on managed network and local printers.
- Coordinate support and troubleshooting activities with department partners and vendors, including private sector vendors and government agencies.
- Manage PC loaner inventory, including imaging and maintaining machines, tracking inventory, and ensuring devices are checked-in and out according to policies and procedures.
- Assist with imaging and PC refresh efforts as ticket volume permits.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree and two years of experience, or four years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- A solid understanding of network printers, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Experience updating printer firmware.
- Experience with imaging computers, installing updates and software, and joining machines to a domain.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and managing asset lists and inventories.
Certifications and Clearance
- A current A+ CE certification.
- The ability to obtain a full Secret Clearance, with an interim Secret Clearance required prior to start.
Target Salary Range
$40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
