Job Description

Printer Support Role

We are seeking an experienced Printer Support Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Printer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support for our clients' printer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for HP printers and other brands such as Xerox, Toshiba, and Lexmark.
  • Resolve printer-related issues and perform maintenance tasks to ensure optimal printer performance.
  • Collaborate with hardware vendors to resolve complex printer issues.
  • Support the implementation of Smart Locker and other printer-related projects.
  • Assist with asset management and disposals.
  • Provide VIP support and take immediate action to resolve critical printer issues.
  • Perform software break/fix, IMACs, and refresh tasks.
  • Support peripherals such as scanning paper and ID cards, barcode scanners, credit card readers, label printers, signature pads, Dragon dictation microphones, and RFID readers.
  • Basic experience with Active Directory, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office is required.
  • Experience with Deskside support in a hospital environment is a plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with LogMeIn is also a plus.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in printer support, with a focus on HP printers.
  • Certified HP Printer support is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Covid vaccinated is a must.
