We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team at Village Green Health Campus. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a stable and rewarding environment, where you can grow as a professional and make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

About the Role

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes. You will work closely with your team to ensure that the kitchen is ready for scheduled serving times and follow all safety and sanitation procedures to prevent foodborne illness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prep and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes
  • Adjust recipes as appropriate to meet residents' nutritional and age-specific needs
  • Work with your team to make sure the kitchen is ready for scheduled serving times
  • FOLLOW ALL SAFETY AND SANITATION PROCEDURES TO PREVENT FOODBORNE ILLNESS
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in the foodservice industry (preferably)
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • A desire to help people and work with a team to make it happen
