Fitness Services Representative

The Fitness Services Representative will oversee the group fitness initiatives at Planet Fitness.
This role involves guiding new members in reaching their fitness aspirations by crafting straightforward workout plans and demonstrating the correct usage of gym equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Planet Fitness group fitness schedule.
- Engage with members to discuss their fitness objectives and provide instruction on safe and effective equipment usage.
- Develop bi-weekly fitness updates featuring diverse exercise routines.
- Fulfill class requirements based on the size of the facility and member attendance.
Front Desk Support Duties:
- Answer incoming calls courteously and assist with various inquiries.
- Process member check-ins efficiently.
- Facilitate new member registrations.
- Conduct tours for prospective members.
Address member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications- A genuine enthusiasm for fitness and wellness.
- A positive and energetic demeanor.
- Dependability and punctuality are essential.
- Outstanding customer service abilities; capable of interacting positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations.
- Strong listening skills with the capacity to empathize and resolve issues.- Display professionalism in all interactions, utilizing appropriate language and behavior.
- Current CPR Certification is mandatory.
- Nationally recognized Training Certification is required.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is necessary.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements
- Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Frequent verbal communication in person or via phone.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- May encounter hazardous materials during shifts.
