Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead our efforts in developing and executing strategic account plans with our most valued customers. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs and preferences
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver marketable products and solutions
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to inform business decisions
- Communicate sales forecasts and budget targets to stakeholders
- Manage contracts and pricing, including negotiations, to ensure optimal business outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with MBA preferred; technical degree also considered
- Minimum 10-15 years of progressive sales or business development experience in the food ingredient industry
- Strong leadership, relationship-building, and negotiation skills with a proven track record of developing and executing strategic plans
- Ability to lead and develop cross-functional opportunities between Zytek Medsearch and customers
- Willingness to travel up to 50% with overnight stays required
What We Offer:
Base Salary: $150K-$170K + bonus
