Position Overview:

Role Summary:
The Room Care Specialist operates autonomously and without constant oversight.

This role is essential in ensuring an exceptional guest experience by meticulously cleaning and preparing various facilities, including guest accommodations, communal spaces, administrative offices, and other designated areas.


Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the Housekeeping and Laundry Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough cleaning of guest accommodations, including stayovers, turnovers, and checkouts, adhering to established cleaning standards.

2. Maintain cleanliness in public areas and offices as assigned, following standard cleaning protocols.

3. Utilize the Facilities work order system to report maintenance needs.

4. Execute quality cleaning tasks within designated timeframes to meet required standards.

5. Regularly inspect storage areas and cleaning carts for organization, cleanliness, sufficient supplies, and proper maintenance.

6. Assess public spaces and guest rooms, providing training to new housekeeping staff.

7. Carry out seasonal deep cleaning tasks as necessary.

8. Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by Housekeeping Leadership.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- 0 to 3 years of prior experience in housekeeping.

- Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

- Capability to stand, bend, stretch, climb stairs, and walk extensively.

- Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.

- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

- Strong self-discipline and attention to detail.

- Basic computer skills and/or familiarity with property management or housekeeping systems.

- Commitment to being present for scheduled shifts, including all days and times.
