About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at ResCare Community Living. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in a variety of settings, including home health, hospice, and residential care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist nurses with various basic care activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients
  • Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and respiration rate
  • Provide simple or uncomplicated patient care, including administering medication as directed by a physician or nurse
  • Clean patient rooms and change bed linens
  • Transport patients and assist with mobility
  • Report patient changes and concerns to nursing staff
Requirements
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Care Aide, as required by state licensure
  • Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and utilize proper body mechanics
