ROLE SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility is to ensure uniformity in operational and maintenance procedures for drilling apparatus across the Seadrill fleet. This includes offering operational support, overseeing equipment refurbishments, and consulting with suppliers. The role involves implementing and refining processes to ensure that the equipment meets Seadrill's internal standards as well as international regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the Company Subject Matter Expert for designated product lines.
- Manage the distribution of vendor technical communications and provide actionable recommendations.
- Develop and revise standard operating procedures for the product line related to drilling equipment.
- Generate corporate documentation (Technical Reports, Technical Bulletins, Technical Proposals).
- Address technical challenges and downtime incidents promptly and assist in recovery efforts.

- Collaborate with suppliers to assess equipment reliability and enhancements.
- Ensure the dissemination of best practices and lessons learned across various rigs.
- Review management of change requests, maintenance proposals, and improvement suggestions from rigs.
- Maintain and oversee preventative maintenance tasks within the assigned responsibilities.
- Identify opportunities and support the advancement of condition monitoring and condition-based maintenance for equipment in the designated areas.
- Participate in technical audits across the fleet as necessary.
- Ensure that Seadrill's policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated to comply with the latest international standards and regulations.
- Assist various rig and project management teams in developing and advising on proposed scopes of work related to long-term maintenance or upgrade projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
- Minimum of 5 years of offshore experience in the relevant discipline at a supervisory level is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge relevant to the field.
- Ability to engage effectively with technical teams and management on drilling units.
- Comprehensive understanding of equipment and systems within the area of responsibility.
- Familiarity with management systems and asset management tools similar to TMS/Maximo/Synergy.
- Proficient in technical writing and communication using MS Office Suite.

Desirable:
- Experience in installation and commissioning is preferred.

EDUCATION:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
- Willingness to travel offshore as required.

Preferred:
- Proven track record of effective performance in various offshore marine/subsea environments within the oilfield and energy sector.
