Key Performance Elements/Essential Functions
Hospitality to Our Guests
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences by understanding our culture and creating a positive and memorable atmosphere.
- Warmly welcome guests with a smile and make eye contact as they enter the restaurant.
- Provide clear and concise information about our menu, services, and story to guests.
- Keep guests entertained and engaged while waiting or in line.
- Lead guests to a clean, perfectly set table and hand them the menu after they are seated.
- Maintain awareness of available tables and always know of a party 'on deck' to be seated.
- Communicate with servers and managers regarding table availability, seating of large parties, or special requests.
- Handle guest complaints by listening to their concerns, informing a manager, and resolving issues to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return to the restaurant again.
- Arrive to work on time, well-groomed, and ready to work.
- Clock in and out as scheduled.
- Demonstrate a helpful and positive attitude to guests and team members.
- Complete all assigned tasks and duties assigned by managers/supervisors.
- Check the greeter area and its storage areas for adequate supplies.
- Review potential wait times and work with managers to plan seating arrangements.
- Assist fellow team members as needed to ensure our guests receive the highest standard of food, beverage, and hospitality.
- Check out with a manager before leaving at the end of each shift.
- Inspect restrooms, dining room, and lobby, clean as needed, and report any unsafe conditions.
- Monitor dining area tables to ensure they meet or exceed standards.
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Able to speak to the restaurant's story and mission statement.
- Passion for hospitality, providing exceptional service, and creating memorable dining experiences.
