Design Studio Specialist

We're seeking a talented Design Studio Specialist to join our team at Pottery Barn Kids. As a key member of our design team, you'll play a crucial role in inspiring customers to express themselves in their home.
Responsibilities- Utilize your design expertise to assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home, driving store sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Perform productive in-home consultations, accurately measuring and assessing clients' living spaces to create personalized design plans.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve and exceed established sales and productivity goals.
- Provide World-class service standards, assisting customers with special services, including gift wrap, gift registry, and furniture orders.
- Demonstrate superior product knowledge, showcasing the features and benefits of our design studio assortment.
- Strong communication, clienteling, and customer follow-up skills.
- Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders within various sales channels.
- Experience working with design elements preferred.
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience, with specialty retail experience preferred but not required.
- Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
- Full-time associates are expected to have open availability to meet business needs.
- Part-time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week, including two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend and two during the week.
