Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to spearhead and oversee infrastructure initiatives and methodologies. A strong desire to learn, meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a solid knowledge base are crucial. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and utilize time efficiently. Proficiency in SQL and PowerShell is essential, along with a willingness to learn additional scripting languages. Familiarity with Azure Cloud and Oracle Cloud is preferred, and availability for on-call duties may be required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with over 8 years of relevant programming experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to the specific team.
  • Strong SQL Database expertise.
  • Experience with SQL Series, coding, and queries.
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud or similar platforms.
  • Experience with VMware.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
Primary Responsibilities
60%: Develops new code or modifies existing code to fulfill the requirements of business applications. Conducts testing or debugging to ensure functional requirements are met and that the work produced is of high quality. Adheres to company development standards specific to the team.
15%: Provides production support through troubleshooting, resolving issues, conducting ad-hoc data analysis, or other tasks as directed by management. May be required to provide after-hours support.
10%: Engages in review, analysis, and design for new assignments, identifying potential opportunities and challenges that may impact successful completion. Collaborates with end users, third parties, IT staff, and management to define, plan, and scope projects. Relies on experience and judgment to achieve these objectives.
10%: Occasionally leads or directs the work of other team members.
5%: Adheres to existing documentation standards required for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and complies with Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements as necessary.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • The work environment involves typical office risks or discomforts, necessitating standard safety precautions, such as safe practices with office equipment and adherence to fire regulations.
  • The role is primarily sedentary, allowing for comfortable seating while performing tasks. Some walking, standing, bending, and light lifting may be required.
